Other comments: When I played Wits & Wagers a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that some of the questions are outdated. The player with the most poker chips after this question wins.įamily : You can score up to 4 points on each question:ġ point for correctly placing the Small MeepleĢ points for correctly placing the Large Meeple On the seventh and final question, players can bet their poker chips. Party : Players score one poker chip for a correct bet or for having the closest guess. Unlike Family, no chips are awarded for writing the closest guess. Generic chips placed on losing bets are forfeited. After the first question, players can win additional generic chips that can be used to supplement wagers if desired. Each round (question), both chips must be used to bet and cannot be lost. In Original, players all start with 2 chips in their color. Family game ends when the first player reaches 15 points. Original and Party games consist of 7 questions. These questions were chosen because they are lighter and more fun than the questions from the original Wits & Wagers.) I could not find # of questions for Family. Party comes with 250 questions - I think it's 2 questions per card, 1 on each side (description from BoardGameGeek: 250 of the best questions from the out-of-print Wits & Wagers Expansion Pack 1. Original includes 700 questions with 7 questions listed on each card.
Rules are not very complex and examples are provided. I own the original one - this is the only version with a felt board showing different pay-outs. There are 3 different editions: original/classic/regular (yellow box), party and family.
